The new collaboration aims to enhance water and sewage monitoring in Norway.
Norway has established high environmental standards and places strong emphasis on water quality, meaning that the water and sewage system must meet strict requirements for sustainability and performance. The country faces similar challenges to Sweden regarding water leakage and the need to modernize water and sewage infrastructure. Robert Andersson, Chief Commercial Officer at Aqua Robur Technologies, comments on the collaboration, stating: ‘With Malthe Winje’s significant position in the water and sewage sector in Norway, we look forward to jointly delivering a comprehensive IoT monitoring solution for pipeline networks that can meet these requirements.
Fredrik Bamrsud, Operations Manager at Malthe Winje Automasjon, shares the enthusiasm: ‘MWA has many years of experience as a supplier of SCADA/process control systems, automation products, and field equipment. With this agreement, we become a more comprehensive provider for system integrators and end-users in the water and sewage sector in Norwegian municipalities. The sensors and IoT solutions developed by Aqua Robur are specifically tailored for these applications and open up for broad installation. This will be a very exciting addition and collaboration that we will begin promoting immediately at upcoming water and sewage expos and at our Technology Day in November.
The partnership between Aqua Robur and MWA aims to offer the water and sewage sector in Norway cost-effective and high-performance solutions that can meet the country’s stringent requirements through increased control and precision in monitoring overflow points, inflow water, and leaks in drinking water pipelines.
