– As a water and wastewater company, it is our responsibility to ensure a smooth water supply to everyone in Säffle, including businesses. When we faced the need to accurately measure the flow to an industrial facility, we knew that we needed an innovative solution to perform the task efficiently. With a successful collaboration with Aqua Robur Technologies as a foundation, it was natural for us to turn to them to solve our challenge.

Together with Aqua Robur Technologies, we created a comprehensive system solution consisting of two metering wells equipped with an external bypass for easy maintenance and increased flexibility. Inside the wells, Siemens MAG flow meters and the communication unit Fenix Hub were installed, enabling wireless data transfer via the mobile network. The solution will be powered by an Aqua Robur turbine, efficiently harnessing the water flow as the sole energy source. The entire system was delivered ahead of an installation window during a one-week industry shutdown for maintenance. The metering wells are crucial to ensuring water delivery to one of our major customers, providing continuous real-time flow data.

Using the Fenix ​​Hub system, we cover all of our key application areas, including flow measurement, level monitoring, sewer overflow monitoring and more. This solution strengthens our ability to effectively manage our water resources and facilitates work towards a sustainable water supply in the future.
